In the interests of safety, fairness,

responsible dog ownership,

 and to enable this event to be an

enjoyable experience for all

the following rules will apply

 in addition to any ABNA show rules:

 

 

 

1. All dogs entered must be either registered with one of the following registries: A.B.A / NKC / ARF / UKC / ABRA / ARFE

and show a copy of the dogs registration certificate when registering for entry into show classes. Absolutely no exceptions.

2. No dogs to be staked out. All dogs MUST be kept on a lead or in a dog crate at all times and MUST be handled by an ADULT.

3. A handler may talk to the judge concerning his dog's placement at the end of the class or at the end of the show, at the judge's discretion.

4. The judge may excuse any dog and handler if he or she feels the dog is not under control or exhibits any vicious propensity.

5. The choice of judges lies entirely with the officers of the hosting club.

6. Please clean up after your dogs - bins are provided.

7. The judge's placement at the end of each class is final.

8. No Baiting. This is to include any food items such as hot dogs, liver, etc; or toys, clickers or other objects.

The judge is allowed to use keys, clickers, or toys other than food items to get a dogs attention.

9. No “double handling” which is defined by the owner or one of the owners or someone the dog knows or agent of the owner distracting or making noise to draw the dogs attention or the dog’s competition’s attention from outside the ring.

A judge noticing “double handling” will give one warning, if the offence is repeated the dog will be dismissed.

10. We reserve the right to alter any classes, program of events or event rules if appropriate.

11. People or Dogs misbehaving will be asked to leave the show ground without refund.

12. Keep ALL children under Adult supervision at all times.

13. All vehicles are left at the owners risk.

14. Only American Bulldogs are allowed on the show site, this includes the car park. Do not bring other breeds or you will be turned away.

15. The sale or exchange of puppies at this event is strictly forbidden.

The HABC strongly believe in and promote responsible dog ownership...

Irresponsible dog owners affect the future of our breed.

Therefore anyone who does not respect this view is not welcome at

our events, we will expel anyone from our events

who we believe is acting irresponsibly without refund.

 

PLEASE NOTE: The H.A.B.C. (Hopwood American Bulldog Club) and the

A.B.N.A. (American Bulldog National Alliance) will not be held responsible for

 any liability or damaging incident whatsoever which may occur at this event.

We are not responsible for carelessness or irresponsible owners / handlers.
