NOTICE :

AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) TESTING ....

The HABC have been hosting the AKC CGC testing at the

weekend Summer show for the past few years....

Unfortunately we are unable to provide

AKC Canine Good Citizen testing at this or future shows.

The AKC  (American Kennel Club) have announced that

they are no longer providing testing outside of the USA.

A total of 52 American Bulldogs & their owners in the UK passed and

achieved this award over the four years it was available here.

This was a great step forward in the right direction for the breed,
in demonstrating that American Bulldogs
should & can have a good temperament and
their owners should & can be responsible dog owners.

The HABC would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who
participated in this scheme and contributed to supporting and

promoting responsible dog ownership within the breed.

We are now currently looking into credible alternative
schemes / testing for dogs and owners in this breed
to participate in at future events.

Thanks from us all at the HABC

share information about their companion dog/s, for

 general business advertisements, Kennel advertisements,

breeding announcements (subject to criteria i.e health and temp testing), ect.
